Position Overview:

We are eager to welcome a Settlement Analyst to our energetic Settlement and Structured Transactions team. Reporting directly to the Manager, your role will encompass the management of energy market trades and long-term agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently execute daily and monthly settlement operations
  • Verify accounting entries and ensure adherence to organizational protocols
  • Examine energy market settlement algorithms to improve validation methodologies
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure precise data reporting
  • Stay informed about market regulations impacting settlement and suggest process enhancements
  • Assist in system upgrades and implementation initiatives
  • Address settlement discrepancies with external stakeholders
  • Support the Manager with regular updates and operational tasks

Essential Qualifications:

  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient in working autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of two years of experience within the energy sector
  • Familiarity with Trade capture and Data Validation Systems is advantageous
