Key Responsibilities: Manage the financial performance of the assigned product category, focusing on revenue and profitability. Leverage market insights and customer trends to formulate and execute a robust product strategy. Identify and prioritize investment opportunities to expand market share within your category. Collaborate with product development and sourcing teams to bring your strategic vision to fruition. Advocate for customer interests across various departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Oversee pricing strategies and promotional activities to achieve revenue and margin goals. Conduct in-depth analysis of category performance, translating data into actionable insights.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Minimum of 7 years in Merchandising, Product Line Management, or Category Management. Proven success in driving revenue through strategic product decisions. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate data and derive meaningful insights. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration. Demonstrated ability to build successful partnerships internally and externally. Legally authorized to work in Canada. Completion of a criminal background check is required.
