Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Worker to join our team at Blue Sky Family Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to children and youth in our group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and address the needs of clients, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution support as needed.
  • Supervise and support clients in daily activities, promoting independence and self-esteem.
  • Liaise with external agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist clients with special needs, promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., social work, child and youth care).
  • Experience working with children and youth in a group home setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • First Aid Certificate and other relevant certifications.
