Job Title: Chief Design Engineer

As a Chief Design Engineer at Masco Canada, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative water solutions for the building and home improvement markets in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a highly specialized technical function/team to develop, validate, and launch new products that meet the highest safety, quality, and product standards.
  • Oversee all engineering-related functions for Masco Canada Products from cradle to grave, including value engineering, warranty and quality support, engineering change management, and review of design drawings and technical specifications.
  • Identify project risks and develop action plans to mitigate them.
  • Manage the pipeline of value engineering idea templates from generation through implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 8-10 years of experience in the field, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading technical teams and projects.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing and electronic products, reliability, sensing, and control.
  • Knowledge of plumbing regulatory requirements.
