Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Chartwell L'Envol. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks to residents
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Assist with mobility and transfers of residents
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and taking messages
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
