Job Title: Roofing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems, asphalt shingles, and metal roofs. They will also be required to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems, asphalt shingles, and metal roofs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications
  • Work at heights and in various locations
  • Handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing
  • Dependability, reliability, and flexibility
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) weight handling
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in various locations, including outdoors, and will be required to work at heights. They will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
