Job Title: Roofing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems, asphalt shingles, and metal roofs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of roofing materials and techniques, as well as excellent physical abilities to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems, asphalt shingles, and metal roofs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Install sheet metal flashings
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The ability to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions is essential.
