Job Description

The Information Technology Division of the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join their team as an Infrastructure Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the upgrade and renewal of the Government's critical information environments, redesigning the GOS-wide wireless network, and participating in the redesign of Community Net and the DMZ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead from an Information Security perspective, the upgrade and renewal of Government's critical information environments.
  • Redesign the GOS-wide wireless network.
  • Participate in the redesign of Community Net.
  • Participate in the redesign of the DMZ.
  • Retire legacy environments.
  • Other Information Security and Infrastructure Architecture initiatives as assigned by the Information Security Branch.

Requirements:
  • Familiarity with the Government of Saskatchewan, or comparable entity, technical and business landscape is considered an asset.
