We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist/Architect to join our Corporate Asset and Facilities Management (CAFM) Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our ambitious goals for sustainable development and improving our portfolio of greener buildings.
The CAFM Service is responsible for managing our large and diverse property portfolio, comprising over 300 buildings, including heritage sites like the iconic Halifax Town Hall. Our Facilities Management (FM) Technical Team is responsible for all technical resources required to deliver an effective maintenance and development service for this portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver architectural design work from inception to completion, including related duties of tendering work and contract administration.
- Work with external specialist consultants and project briefing, leading to appointment and collaborative working.
- Project planning, agreeing prioritisation of works with stakeholders within available budgets, meeting statutory requirements, and maximising the performance and longevity of our assets.
- Oversee the delivery of capital projects and significant building works.
