- Culinary Leadership: Train and mentor our culinary team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional dishes.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure we have the resources needed to meet our culinary goals.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen and work areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained to meet health and safety standards.
- Japanese Cuisine: Develop and execute menus that showcase our expertise in Japanese cuisine, including sushi, tempura, and other traditional dishes.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Be able to stand for extended periods while cooking and preparing meals.
- Work Term: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen and with customers.
