Job Title: Senior Technician

As a Senior Technician at Paladin Technologies, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems for our clients. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, and configure security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and intrusion alarms, in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure the continued functionality and reliability of security systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide expert guidance and solutions tailored to their requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of system installations, maintenance activities, and repairs, and prepare detailed reports and acceptance test plans to meet SLAs and client contracts.
  • Train clients and end-users on the operation of security systems to maximize their effectiveness and ease of use.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in security technology, regulations, and industry best practices, and continuously improve technical skills through training and certifications.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and compliance standards related to security systems installation and maintenance.
  • Perform administrative duties, including project updates and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Progressive experience in a technical role within the integrated security or low-voltage industry is required.
  • Ability to work 50% to 70% night shift.
  • Previous experience leading installations at the site level is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of relevant tools and equipment.
  • Programming experience is preferred for senior positions.
  • Vendor certification in low-voltage systems is preferred.
  • Valid TQ certification is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean abstract.
