Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Dawson Creek & District Hospital. As a member of our multidisciplinary adult care team, you will provide nursing assessment and treatment services for adults with various psychiatric illnesses and mental disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing assessment and treatment services for adults with psychiatric illnesses and mental disorders
- Implement care plans using individual and/or group therapies
- Liaise with other health team members and community agencies
- Participate in educational services, planning, and policy recommendations
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant
- Current CPR and Blood Glucose Monitoring certification
- Post-graduate psychiatric nursing course for RNs, Canadian Nurses Association certification program in psychiatry, or equivalent combination of training or experience
