Job Title: Vice President Financial Communications and Business Services

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our business services and financial communications functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve business objectives
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, and delegate representatives as needed
  • Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff
  • Manage events and conduct performance reviews

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in a senior leadership role
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills

Work Environment:

  • Head office location
  • On-site work required

Budgetary Responsibility:

  • $1,500,001 - $4,000,000

Supervision:

  • More than 20 people
