Locum Opportunity in a Busy Family Practice
We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Specialist to provide primary care and urgent episodic care in our well-equipped clinic at the Pender Island Health Centre.
As a member of our team, you will work alongside one other family physician and a nurse practitioner, utilizing our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to deliver high-quality patient care.
Our clinic is part of a larger health centre offering a range of services, including community nursing, public health, lab collection, optometry, dentistry, physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and mental health counseling.
With flexibility to establish your own clinic hours and workdays, you will have the autonomy to tailor your practice to suit your needs. On-call responsibilities are shared with colleagues on Mayne and Galiano Islands.

As a locum physician with Island Health, you may be eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including a fee premium and participation in the Rural GP Locum Program.
