Technical Solutions Engineer, Smart Systems Technology

We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Engineer to join our Smart Systems Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop performance specifications and design solutions for complex electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather information, clarify specifications, and resolve ambiguities.
  • Design and develop tailored solutions for onboard and off-board vehicle systems.
  • Conduct site/tender walkthroughs to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Participate in prototyping and create installation design documentations.
  • Produce performance specifications and documentation for accurate project execution.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information, clarify specifications, and resolve ambiguities.
  • Collaborate with sub-contractors and suppliers for component and system integration.
  • Participate in design review meetings and provide technical support to sales activities.
  • Attend handover meetings with the project management team after the award.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience within the electrical construction industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of smart systems, including wiring for building automation, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and mechanical systems.
  • An Electrical Engineering degree or diploma, or related education and/or trade experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
