Position Overview

The Profit Centre Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of the workplace, providing essential support to all team members. This position involves managing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate personnel, maintaining various workplace documents, and facilitating meetings and staff events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for customer shipments on a daily basis.
  • Assist in customer service efforts, including managing phone inquiries.
  • Organize and file packing slips, pickers, and reconciled reports.
  • Reconcile daily transactions, Visa statements, and prepare bank deposits.
  • Review, verify, and enter vendor invoices, debit memos, and cancellations into the system promptly and accurately.
  • Investigate and resolve inquiries from customers, vendors, and the National Support Centre, ensuring exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with the Profit Centre Manager to maintain production records and track project hours.
  • Support the sales team by preparing submittal packages.
  • Update and manage various Excel spreadsheets and Google documents.
  • Provide necessary information to the web designer for website updates and manage social media platforms as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations at customer locations and within the Profit Centre.
  • Contribute to all Profit Centre activities as a vital member of the team.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Profit Centre Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in customer service, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with basic bookkeeping practices and terminology related to accounts receivable/payable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and effectively use the software systems for order processing.
