  • Position Summary

    The Parts Clerk is responsible for managing the receipt, verification, labeling, storage, documentation, and security of all parts and supplies within the Parts Room.

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Receive and stock parts efficiently.
    • Conduct surveys on pricing and quality.
    • Provide exceptional counter service.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, bins, and racks.
    • Input necessary data into the computer system and ensure its accuracy.
    • Generate reports as required.
    • Verify the accuracy of information on repair orders.
    • Keep the parts facility clean and orderly.
    • Manage phone communications effectively.
    • Order special parts for repair needs.
    • Oversee cores and parts returns.
    • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
    • Maintain files and related records meticulously.
    • Operate the parts record-keeping system according to corporate and customer requirements.
    • Document sales and repair orders following established procedures.
    Required Education and Certifications
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    Required Experience and Skills
    • 1-3 years of experience in a parts room is strongly preferred.
    • Excellent communication abilities.
    • Proven capability to build strong relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
    • Proficient in computer usage.
    • Strong attention to detail is essential.
