Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SASKATCHEWAN LTD.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Hire food service staff and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management.
  • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a restaurant environment, with a moderate level of physical activity required. The successful candidate will be required to stand for long periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
