Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SASKATCHEWAN LTD.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, team player
Working Conditions:

Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling

Language:

English

Work Schedule:

35 to 40 hours per week
