The Heritage Inn Hotel is seeking an experienced and skilled Lead PM Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and store orders in accordance with hotel standards.
- Prepare ingredients to meet the demands of our restaurant, lounge, and banquet departments.
- Ensure that all food prepared meets the highest standards of quality, taste, temperature, and visual appeal.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Follow daily features and specials to ensure menu consistency.
- Record food inventory to optimize stock levels.
- Stay up-to-date with food and fire safety regulations, as well as industry trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Red Seal Certification or equivalent (preferred).
- Passion for the food service industry and commitment to staying current with provincial and federation regulations.
- Professional appearance and adherence to uniform and dress code standards.
