Farm Supervisor Job Description

Cosmic Growers Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the highest quality crops are produced while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and maintain vertical farming systems to optimize crop yields and quality.
  • Direct and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate financial and production records to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Negotiate with clients to provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of farm staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Perform general farm duties, including greenhouse cleaning and maintenance, to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in agricultural crop production or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and gloves required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff in English.
