Farm Supervisor Job Description

Cosmic Growers Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the smooth operation of our vertical farming system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and maintain our vertical farming system to ensure optimal crop yields and quality.
  • Direct and supervise the work of our farm workers, including deleafing activities, greenhouse cleaning, and maintenance of financial and production records.
  • Negotiate with clients to provide services and coordinate the work of our farm workers and harvesting laborers.
  • Maintain quality control and production records, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Perform general farm duties, including operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and gloves required.
Working Conditions:
  • Remote location.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
