Our esteemed client is in search of a Controller to oversee a dedicated team and report directly to the Country Manager. This pivotal role encompasses various responsibilities in finance, including accounting, financial oversight, strategic planning, and budget management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment.

Location:
Ontario, on-site position

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Oversee the closing of financial records, consolidate results, and perform General Ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare comprehensive internal and external financial reports
  • Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, strategic planning, and budget oversight
  • Drive Profit and Loss improvement and establish Key Performance Indicators
  • Develop and sustain business strategies to identify new growth opportunities
  • Manage all Tax reporting requirements
Qualifications:
  • CPA certification is preferred, with 7-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling
  • Strong preference for candidates with a background in manufacturing
  • Experience with SAP software is advantageous
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
  • Self-driven individual with a knack for cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with year-end audits is a plus
