Vendor IT Risk Specialist

As a Vendor IT Risk Advisor at Royal Bank of Canada, you will play a critical role in identifying, collecting, and maintaining data to represent the cyber security postures of RBC's third-party suppliers. This position supports monitoring and reporting on the security posture of RBC's third-party providers throughout their relationship with the bank.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and develop trusted partnerships with Global Cyber Security teams, Group Risk Management, and RBC Lines of Businesses.
- Build strong knowledge of TPITR services, third-party threat intelligence landscape, and operations.
- Develop working knowledge of Archer reporting capabilities and other reporting tools.
- Produce analytics reports using data-driven methods to assess third-party suppliers' cyber security risks.
- Contribute to strategic changes in the utilization of the Continuous Monitoring Program.
- Communicate key trends, issues, and actions required by partners through weekly and monthly meetings.
- Undergraduate degree with change management experience in complex programs.
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills, with strong presentation skills.
- Skilled in IT Risk/Cyber Security Risk Identification through work experience and formal accreditations.
- Strong understanding of IT enterprise application deployment methods and infrastructure technology management in the financial services industry.
