Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Logistics Delivery Associate to join our team at Ahluwalia Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods and packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up packages and items by hand, adhering to strict delivery schedules and deadlines.
  • Operate and Maintain company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to transport goods and packages.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service by being professional, courteous, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Communicate Effectively with central dispatch and other team members to ensure seamless delivery operations.
  • Record and Track delivery information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during delivery.
  • Load and Unload goods and packages from vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Sort and Organize packages for delivery, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Use Maps and Navigation Tools to plan and execute delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Perform Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment with tight deadlines and high levels of customer demand.
  • Work Under Pressure to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
  • Physically Demanding role requiring regular lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Handling Heavy Loads and packages, requiring physical stamina and endurance.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with regular working hours.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
