Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Delivery Associate to join our team at Ahluwalia Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages and goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Safely deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Sorting and Loading: Sort packages for delivery and load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Navigation and Communication: Use maps and other trip planning aids to navigate to delivery locations, and communicate effectively with central dispatch and customers.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and upkeep.

  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a variety of weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Training and Development: Willingness to train and develop skills in logistics and delivery operations.
  • Language: Fluency in English language.
  • Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules as needed.
