About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at NBS Steel Framing & Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in our carpentry projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Planning: Prepare detailed layouts and designs for carpentry projects, adhering to building codes and regulations.
  • Material Selection and Procurement: Source and procure high-quality materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and other materials as required.
  • Construction and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create custom carpentry features, including foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems.
  • Finishing Touches: Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless finish.
  • Project Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residences, wooden structures, and other establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a standard 40-hour workweek.
  • Proficiency in English as the primary language of communication.
