About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Virtual Customer Service Representative to join our team at Embark. As a key member of our Customer Success department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deploy retention tactics to engage with existing clients and prevent account cancellations or transfers.
  2. Maximize the value of customers' Registered Education Savings Plans (RESPs) through account management activities.
  3. Act as a subject matter expert on RESP products, features, and benefits, providing financial advice when appropriate.
  4. Proactively manage and retain existing customers by building strong relationships and trust.
  5. Execute and improve upon current customer retention strategies in an inbound and outbound call center environment.
  6. Establish credibility through regular communication and effective relationship-building strategies.
  7. Conduct regular check-ins and account reviews to ensure customers are maximizing the value of their RESP and leveraging opportunities for new business.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions and leverage advantages to build effective solutions for great customer experiences.
Requirements
  1. Bilingualism in French is a requirement for this position.
  2. Customer-centric approach, providing financial advice when appropriate, by ensuring that customers understand all the benefits of their RESP at each stage of its lifecycle.
  3. Experience in partnership relations and virtual management.
  4. Ability to synthesize large volumes of data to derive trends and patterns.
  5. Flexible and open to change, constantly striving to improve processes.
  6. Experience in Microsoft Excel and reporting background is an asset.
  7. Must be eligible to be licensed through your local provincial authority and recognized by the RESP Dealers Association of Canada.
