About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at Southcoast Farming Inc as a Tobacco Farm Laborer. This is a seasonal position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant, Cultivate, and Irrigate Crops: Assist in planting, cultivating, and irrigating tobacco crops to ensure optimal growth and quality.
  • Harvest Crops: Participate in the harvesting of tobacco crops, including manual and mechanical harvesting methods.
  • Operate and Maintain Farm Machinery and Equipment: Assist in the operation and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, plows, and other equipment.
  • Examine Product for Quality: Inspect tobacco crops for quality and readiness for market.
Work Environment and Conditions
