Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Plumber, Gasfitter, and Technician to join our team at Star Mechanical. As an Apprentice, you will assist experienced Journeypersons, while as a Journeyperson, you will mentor and guide Apprentices. This role offers opportunities for project management and professional growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Participating in plumbing activities at all stages and ensuring accurate and efficient task completion.
- Installing, troubleshooting, and overhauling entire plumbing systems.
- Reviewing and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to comprehend project requirements.
- Measuring and laying out reference points for installation with precision.
- Verifying and preparing materials for projects, ensuring accurate quantities and types.
- Working safely and adhering to Star Mechanical's Safety Program and relevant regulations.
Working Conditions
This role primarily involves working on-site during regular business hours (Monday to Friday), dispatched from Star Mechanical's location. You will be exposed to noise from equipment and machinery, occupational hazards, and inclement weather. Physical work pace and exertion may lead to limited physical fatigue. We offer the opportunity to work additional hours.
