Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to lead the logistics side of our Relay For Life event. As the Site Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of the event, from securing venue and materials to coordinating deliveries and managing the site schedule.

• Support Committee Leads in event initiatives requiring logistics support
• Secure materials and oversee site design, set up, and tear down
• Plan and provide for physical needs of activities and entertainment on event day
• Coordinate deliveries and pick-ups for Relay event
• Work with other leads to determine site schedule for the day
• Organize site and respond to requests from other committee members
• Submit applications and permits
• Design a track experience to motivate participants
• Ensure security of venue and participants
• Inventory event materials

We will provide you with online resources, training, and support to help you lead the logistics side of this community event.

You will be supported by the Relay Director, Logistics, and part of the larger Relay community.

• This is an important leadership role, requiring regular monthly meetings with the committee
• You will arrange details with suppliers and sponsors, and communicate regularly with volunteers and the Relay Director
• As the event date approaches, your time commitment will increase, and your leadership will be critical in creating a sense of accomplishment for participants
