Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Metal Fabricator to join our team at Steel Art Signs. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality metal structures and components for our signs and displays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns for metal fabrication
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
  • Weld or bolt sections together using various techniques
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines
  • Construct patterns and templates for metal fabrication
  • Install fabricated components in final product
  • Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite
Requirements
  • Experience with metal fabrication and welding techniques
  • Knowledge of metalworking machines and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD and other design software
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced fabrication environment with regular exposure to heavy machinery and equipment. A high level of physical fitness and ability to work in a team environment are essential for this role.
