Investment Banking Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Capital Markets platform, you will play a critical role in providing innovative solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of financial markets, products, and services.
- Collaborate with deal teams to generate creative solutions for clients.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives and provide analytical findings to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between stakeholders and provide quality reports and analyses.
- Research and analyze company and industry financial and operating information.
- Perform complex financial modeling and valuation analysis.
- Develop and present financial models and statistical exhibits to clients.
- Apply technical concepts and understand the implications of work on clients and transactions.
- Develop an understanding of and proficiency in using all required systems and models.
- Provide feedback on and support continuous improvement opportunities.
- Integrate information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis, and streamlined reporting.
- Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or accounting with outstanding academic achievement.
- Financial analysis training and experience.
- 0-3 years of successive relevant experience in investment and/or corporate banking.
- Highly skilled in building complex financial models.
- Skilled in creating statistical presentations.
- Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaboration and team skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Influence skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000-$100,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
