Job Title: Assistant Director, Health Programs

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Director, Health Programs to join our team at The International Foundation for Customer Experience in Government. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in health policy and program administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign projects and programs to determine potential improvement in public health services
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to achieve program goals
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure smooth program delivery
  • Review projects or data related to public health policy to determine areas of strengths and opportunities for improvement
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform program decisions
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to stakeholders and senior management
  • Advise senior management on program strategy and direction
  • Plan, develop and implement communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote program success
  • Direct and advise health or social policy researchers, consultants or program officers to achieve program objectives
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as health policy analysis or health services administration
  • 5 years or more of experience in health policy and program administration
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Google Docs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
