Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Professional to join our team at Zoom X Logistics. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Accounting Tasks: Post journal entries, prepare tax returns, and maintain computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 35 hours per week.
