About the Role

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a skilled Donor Services Representative to join our dynamic Donor Centre team in Scarborough, Ontario.

The Donor Centre team plays a vital role in supporting Canadian Blood Services by collecting donor blood in a safe and efficient manner, enabling the production of life-saving products.

In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by greeting donors, confirming appointments, and rebooking donors as needed. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with donors and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Confirm appointments and rebook donors as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Work collaboratively with the Donor Centre team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in a customer service or hospitality environment, or previous experience working with volunteers.
  • Technical skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems and programs.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift weights up to 10 kg (22 lbs).
