Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical assistance for RF hardware, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving issues across various wireless communication technologies including 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, CAT-M, NB-IoT, GNSS, and Wi-Fi.
  • Deliver dependable design solutions tailored to client applications.
  • Facilitate collaboration among diverse teams (such as CPM, FAE, Certification) to address customer RF hardware challenges promptly.
  • Evaluate schematic and PCB design files of client devices utilizing EDA tools.
  • Assist in overcoming challenges related to overseas certifications for OTA and EMC.
  • Respond swiftly to customer inquiries regarding RF hardware issues.
  • Conduct independent meetings with clients and certification laboratories as required.
  • Document and summarize RF-related inquiries and issues from clients in detailed reports.
  • Lead internal technical training sessions for FAE and Sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the RF development team to produce technical application notes.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Microwave Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of RF principles, conformance specifications, and common testing instruments.
  • Understanding of RF architecture design at the component level within Cellular Modems.
  • Experience in product testing, particularly with various RF technologies including Cellular (2G/3G/4G) and Wi-Fi.
  • Ability to interpret key parameters from datasheets effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proficient spoken and written English.
  • Capacity to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Quick adaptability to advancements in RF technology and the company's expanding product offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle pressure, with strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Microwave Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience with laboratory equipment such as R&S CWM500, Anritsu MT8821C, IQxel, VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, and oscilloscope.
  • In-depth understanding of RF design with demonstrated experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
  • Experience in testing and troubleshooting RF technologies including Cellular (2G/3G/4G/NB-IOT/Cat-M/GNSS) and Wi-Fi.
  • Familiarity with OTA and EMC testing requirements, with a track record of resolving related certification issues such as de-sense, spurious emissions, and harmonics.
  • Proficient in EDA tools like PADS, AD, CAM350 for reviewing schematic diagrams and PCB layouts.
