Job Summary
The Claims Adjuster will be responsible for handling multi-line claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle multi-line claims, including auto, property, liability, and accident & benefits
- Conduct thorough investigations and assessments to determine claim validity and extent of damages
- Communicate with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates
- Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies to minimize losses and maximize customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting and customer service, to ensure seamless claim processing
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices
Requirements
- University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in claims adjusting or a related field
- Adjuster's license or currently pursuing CIP designation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
