Position Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our establishment. This position requires a dedicated individual who can effectively manage a team of cleaning staff while ensuring high standards of service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset
Work Environment

Our facilities include a hotel, motel, and resort setting, where the supervisor will oversee daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop cleaning personnel
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations
  • Identify and arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, or renovations
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team
Supervisory Responsibilities

The supervisor will oversee light duty cleaners and manage a team of more than 20 individuals.

Certifications Required
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
