Pharmacy Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy department. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Oversee medication dispensing and ensure accuracy in prescription filling
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management
- Provide drug information to healthcare providers and patients
- Monitor medication inventory levels and order medications as needed
- Conduct performance evaluations for pharmacy staff
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, procedures, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of drug interactions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in hospital or acute care settings preferred
- Familiarity with pediatric pharmacy practices is a plus
