Role Overview

We are seeking qualified mental health professionals to deliver short-term, solution-focused counseling on a contract basis. This role involves addressing a range of issues including but not limited to:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Interpersonal challenges
  • Workplace difficulties
  • Relationship concerns
  • Stress management
  • Addiction issues

Key Responsibilities

- Provide targeted counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and children.

- Maintain adherence to professional standards and best practices in mental health care.

- Participate in clinical consultations with the management team as necessary.

Qualifications

- A Master’s Degree in a counseling-related discipline or a Bachelor of Social Work with relevant registration and experience.

- Registration or clinical membership with a recognized regulatory body in your province.

- A minimum of three years of experience in counseling, social services, or addiction services.

- Experience in the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) is advantageous.

- Professional liability insurance coverage of at least $2,000,000.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook).
