About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Rigger to join our team at Mt. Lehman Leasing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from our construction sites.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Assist in Pipeline Construction: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction to ensure a secure and leak-free connection.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites to prepare the site for excavation.
  • Earthwork and Grading: Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure a stable and even surface.
  • Paving and Raking: Pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Site Environment: Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Work Setting: Work in an urban area with heavy construction equipment and machinery.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
