Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Triple S Aggregates Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of dump trucks to transport aggregate materials to various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain dump trucks to transport aggregate materials to construction sites
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Will train
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
