Primary Care Physician

F.E Ossai Medicine Professional Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from routine check-ups to complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Diagnosis: Evaluate patients' physical and mental health, and develop treatment plans to address their medical needs.
- Prescription and Administration: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
- Preventative Care: Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases, and provide education on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Prenatal and Postnatal Care: Deliver babies and provide pre-natal and post-natal care to new mothers.
- Health Education: Advise patients on health care, and provide counseling and support on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Setting: Urban area, private practice, or clinic.
- Certifications and Licenses: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP), Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
