Role Overview

  • Develop comprehensive project frameworks, define responsibilities, and track progress.
  • Implement large-scale multi-ministry projects in collaboration with Ministry Partner Representatives.
  • Contribute to integrated project plans, ensuring alignment of milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies.
  • Manage project scope, risks, and maintain the project portal.
  • Identify and allocate project resources to achieve milestones as per the approved project timeline.
  • Work closely with Ministry Partner Leads to ensure project outcomes meet specific requirements.
  • Proactively communicate risks, issues, and status updates across projects and teams.
  • Prepare Ministry Project Leads for effective reporting on project milestones and deliverables.
  • Define and establish baselines for milestones and deliverables based on project requirements.
  • Generate and assess project status reports and scorecards in line with the integrated plan.
  • Participate as a member of the PMO Project Review Committee.
  • Provide leadership and project management expertise for the implementation of significant projects.
  • Utilize strategic thinking to enhance organizational effectiveness, incorporating risk and change management methodologies.
  • Engage in consultation, negotiation, and mediation to foster consensus.
  • Identify challenges and propose suitable resolutions.
  • Exhibit effective communication skills to distill complex information into clear, logical presentations.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications systems is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large projects within set timelines.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in Project Management.
  • Proficient in various project management methodologies.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects with documented results and lessons learned.
  • Effective management of RAID logs.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Expertise in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Gantt charts).
  • Negotiation and political acumen.
  • Conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Understanding of organizational dynamics and structure.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in creating reports and dashboards on project status.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Experience in documenting issues and gaps as they arise.
  • Knowledge transfer and artifact management.
