Job Title: Sales Representative - Transportation

Adecco Canada is partnering with a leading transportation company to hire a permanent full-time Sales Representative - Transportation in Brampton, ON. This role requires a strong understanding of the transportation industry and previous sales experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify Business Opportunities: Research and analyze sales options to identify business opportunities and evaluate prospects' positions in the industry.
  • Sell Products: Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects, recommending solutions and selling products.
  • Develop Strategic Relationships: Identify and help develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.
  • Implement Business Development Initiatives: Work with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.
  • Prepare Reports: Collect, analyze, and summarize information to prepare reports.
  • Maintain Professional Knowledge: Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and establish personal networks to maintain professional and technical knowledge.
  • Achieve Sales Quotas: Achieve defined sales quotas and present solutions in a professional, concise, and comprehensive manner.
  • Manage Customer Relations: Manage ongoing customer relations, quote prices, and prepare sales contracts.
  • Embrace Product Knowledge: Embrace product knowledge training and pass on this information to customers and prospects.
Qualifications:
  • Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Previous Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is required.
  • Commercial Transportation Experience: Ideally have commercial transportation industry experience.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Computer Skills: Comprehensive computer skills or ability and willingness to learn and apply.
  • Customer Needs: Investigate and resolve customer needs and opportunities.
  • Creativity and Latitude: A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Positive Attitude: Possess a positive attitude and a team player.
