About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at New Era Janitorial Services Inc. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing
    • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
    • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment
    • Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture
    • Make beds and change sheets in client rooms
    • Stock linen closets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Housekeeping and Laundry
    • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
    • Assist with laundry and linen services
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff, responding to their needs and requests
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks
    • Be physically demanding, requiring standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
    Requirements
    • Education
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • Experience
      • Will train the right candidate
    • Language
      • English language proficiency required
    • Work Schedule
      • 36-44 hours per week
