About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Angel's Janitorial Services Ltd. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets to ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Sanitation and Disinfection: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including washing windows, walls, and ceilings.
Work Environment

As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality.
