Tower Crane Operator Job Description

At Syber Concrete Forming Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Tower Crane Operator to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for safely operating a tower crane to lift, move, and place heavy equipment and materials on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tower crane to lift, move, and place heavy equipment and materials
  • Conduct daily machine safety inspections and routine crane maintenance
  • Assess and record crane capacities and weights to prepare rigging and hoisting
  • Work extended hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines
  • Comply with all WorkSafe (WCB) procedures and safety practices
Requirements:
  • Valid British Columbia Level A crane certificate (B ticket considered)
  • Commercial &/or infrastructure construction experience/formwork considered an asset
  • Ability to independently conduct daily crane inspections and perform routine maintenance
  • Knowledge of WorkSafe (WCB) procedures and safety practices
