  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines, conducting pre-operation checks, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining awareness of the environment to prevent accidents.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks, conveying information about material quantities, equipment status, and any potential issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on shovel equipment, including greasing moving parts, inspecting hydraulic systems, and reporting mechanical issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience operating a shovel on a Grading crew is required.
  • A valid driver's license and own transportation are required.
  • Working hours may require some weekend and evening shifts.
